New York
As the United States continues our battle against the Coronavirus, we are making
great strides in defeating this deadly virus.
While researchers race for a cure and healthcare workers continue providing excellent,
life-saving care - we believe we have succeeded in flattening the curve.
This is a pivotal step, not only in defeating the deadly virus, but in re-opening our great nation.
As a result of the tremendous progress made in all areas, many states have begun the process of planning/beginning to
re-open society.
This is a vital step, as this week's unemployment numbers painted a grim picture.
As it stands now, over 30 million Americans have filed for unemployment during this crisis.
Our great nation, which months ago was setting market records and achieving record low unemployment, has fallen
into economic crisis.
Now, we must take immediate steps to defeat this crisis.
It's time to re-open America in a way that protects the health of vulnerable Americans and our livelihoods,
so that we can provide for our families.
Lockdowns, unemployment checks, and government stimulus are not the answer.
The only thing that will restart the economy is letting the American people work again.
The government should not be able to determine which jobs are essential and which jobs are not essential.
Every job that employs an American citizen, that
allows them to provide for themselves and their family, is an essential job.
Our message is clear:
"WE ARE AMERICANS. WE WANT TO GET BACK TO WORK."
